Sharon Zhou

Co-Founder & CEO

Sharon's dream is to make technology that is so complex it feels like magic, like generative AI, extremely usable and accessible by everyone.

Sharon was previously a faculty member at Stanford University, where she published award-winning machine learning research and created one of Coursera's largest classes, Generative Adversarial Networks, teaching over 80,000 students. One step in demystifying generative AI.

She also received her PhD at Stanford in generative AI, under Dr. Andrew Ng, and has been an AI advisor to key AI policymakers in Washington D.C. Sharon is featured in MIT Technology Review's 35 Under 35.

Prior to her doctorate, she was a product manager at Google and also (fun fact) the first to major in Classics and Computer Science in Harvard University's history.
